S&S CYCLE Special Application Crankcase

Description

Take your engine to new heights with the S&S CYCLE Special Application Crankcase. With a .250″ outward movement of the cam chest, you can handle larger cylinder bore sizes while the relocated cam chest oil pick-up increases scavenging and virtually eliminates oil carry-over at high rpm. This crankcase is machined to accept the stock oil filter assembly used on 92-99 Big Twins, and its ported breather passageway and machined breather window provide maximum airflow with minimal restriction. Venting options include two crankcase breathers, cylinder heads, or both, with S&S recommending using both in engines 95″ and larger. Additionally, the crankcase is clearanced for strokes up to 5″ and machined for easy installation of a crank position sensor, making it perfect for EFI applications and compatible with S&S IST Ignition and VFI Fuel Injection. A plug kit is also provided for non-crank position sensor applications. Live on the wild side.
